Jump off #1

The Jump off #1 Auditons will be held on the 28 June 2008 at The Venue( Lords Walk , Preston , PR1 7RA)

We are looking for street dancers . We will be looking at the dancing to key , the type of music is flexible . Judges will be looking at movement precision in every movement rhythm to music as well as own body rhythm. Timing is also very important and so are facial expressions. We are looking for talented passionate dancers.

Auditions are open to groups only by groups we mean two or more people.

 Those selected on the auditions will qualify to a dance off with other groups  with the possiblity of winning £1 000 as well as a place on Adele`s video.

After the Audition the groups chosen will compete in four competitions as below which will be held at PR ONE ( Ex Ritz)

Saturday 2 July - The groups will get a chance to really impress the judges.

Saturday 9 July - the groups will compete again and one group will be eliminated.

Saturday 16 July Two groups will be elininated

Saturday 23 July  The remaining two grpoups will battle it out and by the end of the night we will have a winner.

Admision to all the four competitions are strictly by tickets only .

The Judges:

(i) Gwynz

Renowned and respected Dj whose career spans almost a decade in Radio and Club scene
combined.

Currently resident at Browns Bar, which is the premier urban club in Preston with a
three night schedule from Thursday to Saturday, Dj Gwynz is always tearing down
turntables hence the alias 'Vinyl Junkie' amongst those that have seen Dj Gwynz in
action.


What Gwynz is looking for:

Creativity, Originality, Presence, Command, Coordination and most importantly, the
'Wow' effect.


His message:

Don't be afraid to bring and shine!

(ii) Dale Jacovelli

Dale is looking at dancing to key as well as movement precision as well as rthythm to the music . Facial Expressions are also important. Dale is an ex dancer her self and knows what it takes to come up with mind blowing moves.

(iii) Nadassa

She will be looking at  the choreography behing the moves . She is very particular about the movement to music as well as facial experessions amoung other things.  Nadassa has a good eye for good dancing as well as good urban acts .
